Reset with Light & Oxygen

The incorporation of light- and oxygen-based technologies into the field of wellness reflects a growing interest in supporting the body’s natural processes without invasive techniques. Photobiomodulation and hyperbaric oxygen therapy are based on different principles, yet they share a common approach: interacting with existing biological functions to support balance, regeneration and recovery.

Red light photobiomodulation
Red light acts on deeper layers of tissue. Its wavelengths interact with the mitochondria, which are responsible for cellular energy production. This stimulation may support processes related to internal regeneration, muscle recovery and the modulation of inflammation. At a skin level, it is also associated with supporting collagen production and a gradual improvement in skin quality.

Blue light photobiomodulation
Blue light works more superficially. It is mainly used for its antibacterial and regulatory effects on the skin, helping to balance the skin’s microbiota and reduce visible inflammatory processes. Its application does not generate heat or discomfort and is integrated as a targeted tool for external skin care.

Hyperbaric oxygen therapy
Hyperbaric chambers allow oxygen to be inhaled in a pressurised environment, increasing its dissolution in the blood and its delivery to body tissues. This increased oxygen availability has traditionally been used to support recovery and regenerative processes, and many people experience it as a sensation of deep rest, mental clarity or general revitalisation.

Different technologies, a complementary approach
While photobiomodulation works through light energy and its interaction with cellular processes, hyperbaric oxygen therapy acts by improving oxygen transport and availability. Both technologies can coexist within a broader wellness approach focused on supporting the body without forcing it and without replacing medical or therapeutic care.

In the wellness area of the Resort, these services are available to Higuerón West owners as part of a proposal oriented towards body care, based on a technological approach that is respectful of human physiology.
